What accents are available?+
PronounceHub currently offers American English (US) and British English (UK) pronunciations for every word. Each accent is recorded with high-quality voices so you can clearly hear the differences.
What is IPA and why does it matter?+
IPA stands for the International Phonetic Alphabet. It is a standardized system of symbols that represents the sounds of spoken language. Knowing IPA helps you read the pronunciation of any word in any dictionary, not just on PronounceHub.
Can I slow down the audio?+
Yes. Every word has speed controls that let you play the audio at 0.5x, 0.75x, or normal speed. Slowing it down makes it easier to hear tricky syllables and practice along.
